Volunteering
Volunteers represent the backbone of Rudolphy's support community.
In fact, the organization was actually named for a beloved volunteer!
Reading, Bingo Night, the youth grounds maintenance program . . . these
are all familiar to those with longtime affiliations with Rudolphy.
Efforts to revitalize that tradition are underway, and volunteers are
needed! To learn more, call Shirley Brotman: 215-745-5873.
Annual
Giving
Tax-deductible gifts form a major portion of Rudolphy's operating revenue.
Because it receives no operating assistance from any governmental source,
Rudolphy necessarily
relies heavily on regular giving, an extraordinarily vital component of the
organization's mission of enriching the lives of those with blindness and
severe visual impairment.
Planned
Giving
Planned gifts – gifts and gift programs designed to provide future support
for Rudolphy's mission – are wonderful ways to participate in that community
of support
which has served Rudolphy so faithfully over the years.
Planned gifts may take many different forms, including charitable interests
in trusts and annuities and outright bequests in wills. Also, planned gifts
may
consist of programs designed to take maximum tax advantage of donations
of appreciated securities. To explore the advantages of philanthropy for
Rudolphy's residents
through planned giving, call Shirley Brotman: 215-745-5873.
In lieu
of flowers
Rudolphy gratefully receives gifts in memory, or in honor, of loved ones.
These gifts help strengthen Rudolphy in its mission of special support
for blind and
severely visually impaired adults, enabling them to enjoy a degree of
dignity and independence otherwise not possible. Donors should click
on Contact Us to send memorial or honorary
gifts to Rudolphy. Be
sure to include the donor's name and address as well as the name of the
person in whose
memory or honor the gift is being made, together with the name and address
of the family. These gifts will be acknowledged with gratitude, and the
families
will be promptly notified.
